For gamers of a Certain Age, sometimes it takes a little something extra to get through a hard day’s roleplay as Link – or as the long-suffering sofa sidekick of the one wielding the controllers. Breath of the Wild Cocktails. While the rest of the world finished playing BOTW years ago, we tackled the game during pandemic times. Meaning, of course, we needed a good stiff drink. Or two. Check out our suggested pairings to navigate Hyrule, free the Divine Beasts, and defeat Ganon(s) along the way.
Skyward Sword Cocktails. We greeted the advent of SSHD with some trepidation (and a fair amount of whining about the controllers), but we soldiered on, crafting and pairing cocktails as we raced to the end of a game we didn’t like very much. (“Raced” is a relative term when one is a Boomer, be warned.)
Cocktails While We Wait. Like you, we are eagerly and impatiently awaiting the release of Breath of the Wild‘s sequel, or as we now know it: Tears of the Kingdom. But must we forgo our rightful home comforts and liquid refreshment while we wait? Of course not! Counting down to May 12, 2023, is easier with a glass in hand!
